Senior Business Director As a Senior Business Director at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You’ll team with world‑class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with EPX senior leadership to advance shared goals and support labor & talent planning.

Lead cross‑functional problem solving and operational planning for large horizontal programs that span across EPX.

Build and lead a diverse team of BAs, Product Managers, and Project Managers, with an opportunity to grow the team and your scope over time.

Shape the strategic agenda for how we attract and grow great Product Managers and enable them to build innovative products at Capital One.

Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in shifting regulatory demands.

Coaching and mentoring associates to develop and retain talent at Capital One.

Partner with Product Managers, Design and Engineering to build the best products for Capital One and its partners.

Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.

Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including Tech, Product, Design and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.

Be a tenacious decision maker with strong business judgment, leadership and integrity.

Impeccable written and oral communication skills with strategic influencing skills and ability to drive agreement.

Display an intense focus on achieving short and long term goals in an uncertain and fluid environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).

At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis.

At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis.

At least 2 years of experience in people management.

At least 2 years of experience in project management.

Preferred: Master’s Degree.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in people management.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in product development.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in financial modeling.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in economic forecasting.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in project management.

Salaries

McLean, VA: $264,300 - $301,700

Richmond, VA: $240,300 - $274,300

New York, NY: $288,400 - $329,100

Chicago, IL: $240,300 - $274,300
