A reputable Boston law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of attorneys specializing in litigation/Real Estate. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping cases — and people — on track from discovery to trial. Hybrid schedule in the Boston office.
Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents for litigation and real estate transactions
Manage Real Estate Forms/Filings, Registry Searches and Federal and State e-filing and 9A Filing experience
Manage attorney calendars, court dates, and deadlines
Assist with discovery, trial preparation, and document production
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
Qualifications
4+ years of legal experience
Strong knowledge of court filing procedures (electronic and manual)
Experience with Registry searches, e-filing, 9A filing, timekeeping, document management and legal billing required
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (iManage, Clio, or similar)
A proactive attitude and a team-first mindset
