Responsibilities
Manage and process payroll tax filings for multiple jurisdictions, including federal, state, and local agencies.
Prepare and submit periodic (monthly, quarterly) and annual payroll tax returns accurately and on time.
Reconcile payroll tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with IRS and state tax regulations.
Research and resolve tax notices from federal, state, and local agencies.
Utilize MasterTax software to prepare, file, and monitor tax submissions.
Collaborate with internal payroll, accounting, and HR teams to ensure alignment across all filings.
Stay up to date on tax law changes and filing requirements.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in payroll tax filing or payroll operations.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
Experience with MasterTax software (highly preferred).
Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
