Radioology Technologist, MRI (100% FTE, Variable Days) Location

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine. Work Schedule
100% FTE; 40 hours per week; full-time 4 x 10 hour variable shifts Department Overview
Advanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography). Primary Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations, explain the procedure, and answer questions. Screen patients for any contraindication to MRI exam. Review patient medical history and consult physician as necessary to ensure proper exam. Prescribe scanning parameters, determine optimal imaging options, post-process if needed, calculate and administer appropriate contrast. Administer contrast under supervision of radiologist. Ensure proper scheduling and billing through RIS, archive and send to PACS. Monitor equipment, troubleshoot and repair basic system malfunctions, practice safety policies. Restock rooms and perform related duties as required. Required Qualifications
Completion of formal technology training in an AMA-approved school and registration by ARRT, or equivalent education/experience. Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist. Pay Range
Minimum: $101,952.00 annual
Maximum: $159,480.00 annual Union / Bargaining Unit
