VP Corporate Controller
The VP Corporate Controller is responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit activities. Reporting to the CFO, this senior leader will play an impactful role in supporting the company's growth strategy while ensuring financial practices align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead all functions of the accounting team including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
Complete accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports.
Oversee all company general ledger and legal entity reporting.
Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit.
Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual close functions, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in a timely manner and in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, provide necessary supporting documentation and justification for presentation and approval by the senior team and external stakeholders.
Lead, coach, and develop the accounting and finance team to drive improved business performance.
Provide ongoing support to the organization with insurance policies, audit engagements, income tax filings, corporate finance, regulatory reporting, banking, cash management, mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
Bachelor of Accounting (required)
CPA and/or public audit (required)
10+ years in Corporate Accounting
At least 5 years in a Controllership position
