Within GMEE, eCommerce businesses are a foundational way for Microsoft to acquire and build relationships with our customers at scale through our direct to customer channels. This Director, AI Business Solutions eCommerce role leads the team responsible for driving AI Business Solutions (ABS) eCommerce customer acquisition business strategy and execution in the GMEE organization.
In this role, you’ll dive deep into customer behavior, uncover insights from real-world data, and design and optimize the digital customer journey—from first click to conversion. Your team will collaborate with marketing strategists, engineering product managers, and data scientists to personalize the ABS experience for diverse customer segments, helping them find the right solutions faster. The experiences you help shape will have material impact. This role requires a blend of experiences including strategy, business performance management, analytical thinking, people leadership, executive influence, navigating ambiguity, and a drive for results. Responsibilities
Drive all-up performance/growth of AI Business Solutions (ABS) eCommerce customer acquisition and end-to-end marketing effectiveness in partnership with product marketing and product engineering.
Develop and refine all-up acquisition strategy—including audience needs, pain points, jobs to be done, and customer/business outcomes.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Define, drive, and optimize performance process across all engine teams—Web, Relationship Marketing, Paid Media, and Product Engineering.
Collaborate with the Commerce and Product Engineering team on key experiments, initiatives, and new capabilities to deliver new customer value and business growth.
Lead virtual teams of stakeholders from across Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to drive new analytics projects from data sourcing to insights visualization.
Continuously monitor performance to identify future opportunities or risks and adjust plans as needed.
Lead ABS eCommerce rhythm of business (ROBs)—including monthly marketing reviews (MMR’s) and executive communications.
Coach, develop, and grow a high performing team. Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring as well as attracting and retaining talented people.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in eCommerce marketing or Product Marketing OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in eCommerce marketing or Product Marketing OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.
Experience in direct/ecommerce business channels, digital and lifecycle marketing programs.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in eCommerce marketing or product marketing OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in eCommerce marketing or product marketing OR equivalent experience.
6+ years people management experience.
Experience in project management.
Experience working successfully cross-functionally.
Experience working in cloud services/SaaS.
Experience driving sales outcomes.
Benefits and Compensation Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. The base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
