Job Description The General Manager is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the Store. Key duties include planning and executing the collision center’s daily operations, ensuring compliance with policies, managing budgets, coaching staff, and maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget.
Forecast, target, and track monthly sales, profit, and expense objectives.
Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R for the Collision Center.
Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
Monitor all maintenance required for shop equipment, including the paint booth.
Provide training for all staff as necessary.
Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
Open and close the facility daily according to established procedures.
Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards and manage store capacity.
Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend monthly managers meetings.
Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.
Review CSI performance and follow up within 24 hours.
Education & Experience Required
Post‑Secondary Education or equivalent.
Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
Required Skills & Abilities
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Consistently demonstrate a successful client experience.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Motivate others using effective coaching tools and management skills.
