Title Materials and Planning Analyst

Location Medley, FL

Role Overview We are seeking a

Materials and Planning Analyst

to join our team in a fully on-site capacity. This individual will play a critical role in managing and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs), Material Masters, and related manufacturing data within our MRP system (SAP). The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure an efficient flow of materials and alignment with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and monitor Manufacturing BOMs (MBOM) and Material Master data throughout the lifecycle of parts and assemblies.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Program Leads to ensure alignment between Design Engineering BOMs and Ease of Manufacturing requirements.

Incorporate approved Engineering Changes into MBOMs and communicate necessary actions to relevant teams.

Partner with Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Integrated Production Leads (IPLs), and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to manage effective dates, minimize inventory, and reduce residual stock.

Analyze planning functions, load data accurately into the MRP system, identify improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in problem-solving with requestors to resolve conflicts between requests and existing records or policies.

Apply principles, concepts, and standards related to production planning in an MRP/ERP environment.

Support operational and manufacturing goals by ensuring data integrity and compliance with company and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

University degree with 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations, or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Customer-focused, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Self-motivated, able to research issues and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.

Familiarity with technical/engineering documents and Engineering Data Management tools.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations environments.

Knowledge of production planning and material flow processes.

Exposure to aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
