Base pay range $260,000.00/yr - $420,000.00/yr
Job description We are seeking a mid‑ to senior‑level transactional tax associate to join our tax practice in the United States. In this role, you will advise a diverse range of clients on the structuring of domestic and cross‑border investments in various asset classes, private investment offerings and mergers and acquisitions, and will draft and negotiate related contracts and investment documents. You will also draft memoranda and opinions on current, complex U.S. tax issues.
Responsibilities
Advising clients on transaction and investment structuring, leveraging cross‑border and domestic frameworks.
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing investment documents, contracts, and related agreements.
Preparing memoranda and opinions on complex tax matters.
Collaborating with colleagues in different practice groups and countries.
Staying current on emerging areas of tax law with limited formal guidance.
Qualifications
3-7 years of relevant tax experience in real estate taxation, private equity, partnership and joint venture tax, energy tax credit transactions, or family office structuring.
Top academic credentials; an LLM in taxation not required but may be considered favorably.
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the local bar.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
