Role Overview As a

Precision Machining Specialist , you will masterfully modify and operate industrial manual machinery, turning large pump components to precision. Harness your expertise in metal properties, layout, and machining processes to fabricate vital parts using tools such as Vertical Turret Lathes, Manual Lathes, and Horizontal Boring Mills.

Responsibilities

Specialize in machining substantial pump parts including cases, impellers, and shafts with precision tolerances of ±0.001”.

Experience in planing and boring horizontal pump casings is beneficial.

Utilize mathematical prowess for computations in angles, radii, and other essential dimensions.

Expertise in blueprint interpretation is crucial.

Overhead crane operation experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of machining experience is required.

Journeyman status, military machinist experience, or relevant industry experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

Standard 8‑hour shifts from Monday to Friday

Overtime available as needed

Occasional weekend work if required

At least 3 years of Manual Machining experience (5 years preferred)
