Overview Reynolds American is evolving into a global multi‑category business. Our purpose is to create A Better Tomorrow™ by Building a Smokeless World. We are looking for a Territory Manager in Binghamton, NY to join our Marketing Function.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve commercial sales and growth objectives within the assigned territory in support of Division, Region, and Company goals.

Develop a local strategy and business plan to meet individualized territory objectives, including identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential retail outlets.

Plan and execute product and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) material placements to optimize sales and market visibility.

Maintain customer/consumer engagement skills certification and demonstrate mastery within the territory.

Build client willingness and capability to collaborate with the Company on key business fundamentals to accelerate transformation of the tobacco industry and increase market share.

Develop and maintain business relationships with local chains and distributors, enhancing sales of Reynolds brands through personal correspondence, retail visits, and presentations.

Sell and execute the 5Ps of presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling to customers and adult nicotine consumers.

Analyze territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customer opportunities.

Collaborate with Division Manager on territory‑specific customer and sales planning, company product initiatives, and improvement of market share.

Travel & Physical Requirements

Frequent travel, up to 200 miles per day.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving record.

Lift to 30 lbs; climb and work from heights 9‑12 ft; access limited and confined spaces; inspect merchandise and displays; stoop, kneel, crouch.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Beneficial Experience

Previous marketing‑focused or sales role, preferably in sales, field market, or B2B.

Demonstrated success in a sales representative/territory manager role.

Geographically mobile across the United States for future advancement opportunities.

Salary and Benefits Overview

Annual Salary $68,700.
