Senior OnBase Administrator/Technical Lead
Join Inside Higher Ed as a Senior OnBase Administrator and Technical Lead. This full‑time role is located on the Main Campus in Gainesville, FL.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, development, and support of large, complex enterprise content management solutions using Hyland OnBase, including workflow, WorkView, Unity Forms, Unity Scripts, scheduled processes, and integration with other systems.
Serve as technical leader, train and mentor the ECM team in OnBase capabilities and best practices, develop and enforce standards, security, policies, and procedures for development, testing, and change management.
Administer, configure, secure, and maintain the OnBase content management system; recommend and establish processes to reduce risk and streamline system upgrades and environment creation.
Act as project manager for selected ECM projects, managing planning, communications, testing, quality assurance, and deployment.
Coordinate customer support with team members, customers, and Hyland Support to troubleshoot, document, and resolve highly complex issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or a related field.
4+ years of relevant experience in application and server administration of OnBase or a comparable enterprise content management platform.
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Hyland OnBase certifications in System Administration, Workflow Administration, WorkView Administration, and API/Developer Specialist.
8+ years of experience performing upgrades, environment refreshes, and support of complex OnBase processes.
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications in higher education using OnBase.
Experience administering DocuSign or related electronic signature platforms.
Benefits & Salary Competitive salary range $110,000–$130,000, commensurate with education and experience. UF offers a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation, sick leave, holidays, personal leave days, paid family leave, and other paid time off.
