Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Accounting to lead their accounting operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building scalable financial systems. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. Implement and optimize ERP systems to support financial operations. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred). Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in commercial real estate preferred. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Compensation & Benefits
