The Software Verification Engineer works within the Software Verification team to create test cases, execute tests, and verify software correctness for the company’s ground vehicle platforms. The role is based in Sterling Heights, MI. Responsibilities
Execute software verification activities, including reviewing requirements for testability and leveraging use cases for test development. Develop automated and manual tests, tracing tests to requirements to ensure complete coverage. Identify and diagnose software defects, verify software correctness, and report results. Develop test plans, procedures, and reports for delivery to customers in accordance with DoD Data Item Descriptions (DIDs). Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations and policies. Undertake additional duties as determined by the software test and verification manager. Qualifications
BSC Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Systems, Software, Aerospace, or Automotive). 8–10 years of experience in software verification. Experience with Vector and/or dSPACE tool suites for automated test development. Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers. Proficiency in test scripting with C, C++, Python, CAPL, Vector VTest‑Studio, dSPACE AutomationDesk, and ControlDesk. Familiarity with U.S. DoD ground vehicle requirements and military standards. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Integration Lab Scheduler tools. Ability to work independently in a multi‑national, multi‑organizational corporate environment. Strong communication skills and ability to present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders. Active U.S. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one). Preferred Qualifications
Physical testing experience. HIL/SIL experience. German language skills. MSc Engineering degree. Working Conditions and Physical Demands
