Base pay range $131,922.00/yr - $181,393.00/yr

Job Description As the Senior Manager - Sales Operations, you will be responsible for driving effectiveness, improving efficiencies, and expanding productivity of Wesco’s sales organization. You will be responsible for continuously improving and safeguarding our sales-centric culture, making Wesco the employer of choice for industry’s best sales professionals.

Responsibilities

Sales Tools Strategy & Ownership: Lead the roadmap and adoption of core sales systems including CRM, TAM data platforms, Power BI pipeline dashboards, Order Entry/Management Systems, Customer Business Review tools, and discrepancy resolution systems (e.g., warehouse/shipping).

Process Definition & Optimization: Collaborate with CSS leaders and end-users to define and refine sales processes that improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience. Ensure alignment with global standards and business priorities. Coordinate within Commercial Optimization and CSS Commercial Excellence & Strategy for process documentation and communication.

Cross-BU Collaboration: Partner with Sales Operations leaders in other strategic business units to ensure consistency, share best practices, and drive enterprise-wide alignment on tools and processes including CRM and other sales enablement tools.

Global Coordination & Communication: Facilitate global forums and working groups to ensure inclusive decision-making and transparent communication across the US, Canada, EMEA, APAC, and CALA along with relevant sub-business units.

Data Governance & Reporting: Participate in data integrity and reporting accuracy across platforms with other members of CSS Commercial Excellence and Strategy. Drive adoption of Power BI dashboards and CRM analytics to support forecasting, pipeline management, activity management, and performance reviews.

Capability Building & Enablement: Work within CSS Sales Optimization to ensure robust capability building at all levels and tenure to package and deliver training, job aids, and enablement resources for sales teams using these tools.

Change Management & Adoption: Participate in change management efforts for new tool rollouts and process changes. Monitor adoption metrics and course correct as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

8 years of relevant experience in a matrix environment.

7 years experience in managing against budgets, including sales and profit growth.

5+ years experience as a sales leader.

Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Sense of urgency and deadline driven.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrates attention to detail/organization skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications.

Ability to influence and lead change in a cross-functional team environment.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Compensation Details Compensation Details: $131,922 - $181,393 Annually. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package.
