Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Green River, WY Why Join WE Soda?

Key Responsibilities

Management and coordination of project development and execution. Determination of project development and execution strategies (contracting plan, material management plan, integrated project schedule). Project team management and development of team members (maintenance, operations, safety). Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution. Manage and forecast project costs. Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards. Compliance with process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, and applicable codes and regulatory agencies. Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards (COS). Departmental record keeping and databases.

Activities

Lead large, multi-faceted, complex projects efficiently and with a high level of expertise. Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of AFEs and evaluation of project economics. Lead the management of change (MOC) process. Assist in performing root cause analyses (RCA’s). Determine project development and execution strategies (contracting plan, material management plan, integrated project schedule). Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution. Manage and forecast project costs. Participate in development and administration of the capital plan. Oversee project management, including cost accountability. Prepare design, drawings & specifications documents. Prepare bid/request documents, addendums & change orders for procurement phase. Direct interface with discipline engineers. Provide mentorship of other Project Managers and Project Engineers. Coordinate and ensure projects comply with regulatory and code requirements. Ensure projects are closed appropriately and accounting interfaces are completed. Ensure projects comply with corporate operating standards. Support project systems and ISO efforts. Other duties as assigned.

Skill, Capability And Educational Requirements

B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Mine, Civil or Electrical Engineering preferred. 10+ years of experience in Project Management, leading large or complex projects; includes management of budgets and timelines. 5+ years in an industrial setting. Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license strongly preferred. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience in SAP and AutoCAD strongly preferred.

A relevant mix of education and other experiences will be considered. Final determination on pay will be made by HR and company leadership considering the candidate’s education, experience, and demonstrated leadership.
