Maintenance Planner Scheduler Location:
Green River, WY Note: This position is assigned to the Sesqui facility, business need will determine any future assignments. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for work requests, manages back log in SAP, scopes & plans work orders, creates job packets, procures materials, and prioritizes and schedules work to maximize process up-time and minimize material costs and contractor services. Tracks all work notifications and conversion of these notifications to work orders and plays a pivotal role in gatekeeping the work notifications with production Ensure value added notification/ work order. A value-added work order meets requirements for: added value, scope, completeness of information, prioritization and need date and complies with the Maintenance Reporting Business Rules. Any gaps in the performance of the process have been identified, and measurements are in place to drive the performance improvement. Determines resources and parts needed for maintenance work orders Orders parts and ensure completeness of kitting jobs for execution Develops and maintains work procedures associated with maintenance jobs Manages repairable parts (920s) Maintains accurate and timely status codes on work orders to facilitate the scheduling process Accountable KPI’s associated with efficiency and effectiveness of work order execution – PM, Schedule Compliance Responsible for master data integrity Know and understand the Union Contract Activities
Plans all maintenance work including scoping all jobs, determining resource requirements, ordering parts, and completeness of kitting jobs for execution Ensure good linkage exists between the schedule and material availability. Proper communication with production to ensure equipment is ready for safe execution of the maintenance work in line with the schedule. Creates and maintains all job plans, procedures and checklists for planned work including incorporation of best practices Responsible for planning and scheduling of daily and weekly area maintenance plans and integration with plant production plans Responsible for planning and scheduling for plant outages Maintains accurate and timely status codes on work orders to facilitate the scheduling process Track workflow KPI’s to drive work efficiency improvements Participate in KPI meetings prepared with reasons for success and causes/solutions for performance deviations Partners with Production in daily and weekly scheduling meetings to ensure equipment availability and job readiness Orders all parts for each job and check kits for each job for execution Tracks all work notifications and works closely with production to facilitate the gatekeeping of all work notifications Converts all work notifications to work orders Ensures accuracy of maintenance backlog work in SAP Create work releases when required Conduct safety audits (housekeeping, SWI, awareness, HRP/ SORRY) and apply MSHA/OSHA/State of WY Mining Laws rules and regs Works Maintenance Weekend Duty Provide relief for Maintenance Supervisors and Planner/Schedulers Assists in arranging for Maintenance overtime Arrange for outside services and partner with the Maintenance Supervisors to manage the execution of contracted work Ensure parts are delivered to the staging areas at the right time Generate work release requests and create standard job plans Supports maintenance engineers on projects Recommends parts for stores inventory Support ISO 9000 efforts Responsibilities include those specified herein and others as defined by the Supervisor or Manager, where determined employee is qualified Skill, Capability And Educational Requirements
High School graduate and 3 years in plant maintenance and/or production OR B.S. in Engineering and 1 years in plant maintenance and/or production Strong SAP and Excel computer skills preferred Preferred
