The Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations embraces a spirit of continual improvement and possesses a relentless drive towards excellence. They are accountable for the 24/7 operations of their defined unit(s). The Nurse Manager is accountable for the quality of care delivered and outcomes of areas under their leadership. The 7S Surgical Oncology Unit (7S) is staffed and operational 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The RN Manager will be responsible for managing approximately 70 staff members to support this 24 bed unit. 7S provides post-operative care using a multidisciplinary model. Together with an interdisciplinary team, caregivers meet surgical oncology patients' post-operative physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Responsibilities: Manage the 24/7 operations of the unit Accountable for the quality of care delivered and outcomes of areas under their leadership Manage approximately 70 staff members Provide post-operative care using a multidisciplinary model Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License 5 years Nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of Supervisory or greater level work experience in a union environment 2 or more years of Medical Surgical bedside care Master's Degree in Related field Coursework/Training: Formal coursework in management, finance, and other administrative subjects Upon hire: National Certification from recognized professional organization in relevant field of clinical expertise Management experience Providence is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
