We are seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to provide medical care for animals, diagnose and treat illnesses, consult with clients about their pets' health, maintain patient records, and perform surgeries and related procedures. The ideal candidate will hold a DVM and have an active license to practice in the state.
Responsibilities:
Determine the nature of disease or injury by examining pets and small animals.
Restore health through surgical or medical treatment.
Advise pet owners on sanitation, feeding, and general care to promote health.
Complete forms, reports, logs, and animal records; report diseases to public health officials.
Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, and maintain professional networks.
Contribute to the clinic’s reputation by taking ownership of tasks and exploring value-added opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of animal behavior, safety procedures, documentation, and diagnostic techniques.
Excellent customer service, judgment, integrity, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in medical technologies and understanding of veterinary practices.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state veterinary license in good standing.
Flexible work schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
