We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our close-knit private practice. The ideal candidate will possess a DVM and an active license to practice in Nevada, with experience in animal medical care, diagnosis, treatment, client consultation, record keeping, and performing surgeries.
Responsibilities:
Examine pets to determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
Treat animals surgically or medically to restore health.
Prevent diseases through testing and vaccinations.
Advise owners on animal health, sanitation, feeding, and care.
Maintain accurate records and report diseases to health authorities.
Engage in continuous professional development.
Contribute to the clinic’s reputation by taking ownership of tasks and exploring value-added opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of animal behavior, safety procedures, diagnostics, medical technology, and surgical skills.
Strong communication, integrity, and customer service skills.
Basic proficiency in documentation and use of medical technology.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Valid and good standing veterinary license in Nevada.
Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 plus production, with full benefits for full-time employees.
