As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical coverage, ensuring continuity of care for pediatric patients. This position involves working on-site and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high‑quality medical services.

Responsibilities
Provide medical coverage for pediatric patients in the absence of permanent staff
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide education
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records
Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, regulations, and ethical standards
Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Pediatrics
Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO
Proven experience working in pediatric care settings
Strong knowledge of pediatric medical practices and procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8a‑5p
Duties: Physical exams, immunizations, identifying and treating illnesses, etc.
Multidisciplinary team of internists, specialists, and dedicated support staff
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board‑certified
Paid travel & expenses
