Overview
Chief Engineer for Concordia’s Moorhead steam plant. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, Maintenance and Utilities, this position provides leadership and operation of the central heating plant to provide a constant, reliable volume of steam to meet the campus needs. Yes General shift hours : 7:00am – 3:30 pm Location : Moorhead Open Until Filled : Yes Salary : $69,000 – $75,000. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, and alignment with the position’s requirements. Other considerations may include internal equity and market conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
MN Boiler License : Applicants must meet one of the following: Currently hold a Chief B license in Minnesota, OR Hold a Minnesota 1st Class license (1-B or higher) and have: Held that license for at least one year, and Accumulated the hours of experience required to sit for the Chief B exam (10,000 hours). Candidates who meet the 1st Class license requirement will be given up to 6 months after hire to successfully obtain their Chief B license. 5 years related work experience Valid Driver’s License Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems maintenance and repair Strong and proven leadership experience
