Job Title: Plumbing Instructor – Technical School Company: Florida International Training Institute (FITI) Location: Doral, FL Hybrid (Remote & On-Site) Schedule: Monday, Wednesday (Remote) Tuesday, Thursday (On-Site) About Us: FITI is a prestigious technical school located in Doral, dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in skilled trades. We provide hands-on learning, technical knowledge, and mentorship to help our students enter the workforce with confidence. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced plumber (active or retired) to join our team as a Plumbing Instructor. This role involves teaching both theory and hands-on practical classes in our fully equipped plumbing lab. You will guide and mentor students working toward their technical degree in plumbing, helping them build skills that are always in demand. Responsibilities: Teach plumbing theory, safety practices, tools, and system installations Deliver practical, hands-on training in a laboratory environment Prepare students to apply real-world problem-solving skills Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain a safe and supportive classroom and lab environment Qualifications: Experienced Plumber (Journeyman, Master, or equivalent experience) Active or retired professionals welcome (Licensure not Required) Teaching or mentoring experience preferred (but not required – we provide training) Looking for English and Spanish Professors (Bilingual Spanish/English a strong Plus) Strong communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed Schedule & Compensation: Hybrid Work Structure Flexible Schedules (Part-Time And Full-Time Opportunities) Lucrative Pay Pay On Experience And Qualifications Why Join FITI?: Paid National Holidays Holiday Pay for both part-time and full-time employees Hybrid Work Structure – opportunity to earn while working from home Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
