Job Purpose and Summary As a Pharmacy Manager, you will lead and develop a pharmacy team that provides exceptional patient care by promoting best practices and leading through change while identifying and addressing performance opportunities. You will support program awareness, onboard newly hired pharmacy team members, and recognize colleagues for their success. You will consistently model best practices, including quarterbacking the team, providing patients with meaningful counseling, and abiding by all legal and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts, coaching, and follow-up to improve performance Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation Contributing to positive patient experiences through empathy, collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team, and resolution of insurance and/or medication issues Providing immunizations and coaching Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization Managing pharmacy inventory with focus on protecting cold chain products Conducting onboarding for technicians and pharmacists, including training on CVS workflow and ensuring timely completion of required training and licensure Ensuring operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalating issues as needed Partnering with Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and ensure training for licensure Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists; delivering performance reviews and closing gaps Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic; managing the pharmacy schedule as needed Reviewing business reporting to identify operational improvements in workflow, service, patient care, and compliance Establishing a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion; encouraging feedback and action Maintaining clinical and technical skills; pursuing opportunities to expand knowledge to support patients Supporting access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible Understanding and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies; safeguarding patient privacy and maintaining a safe workplace Required Qualifications Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist Essential Functions Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs, verify prescription information and labeling for patient safety Customer Service and Team Orientation: proactively help patients and collaborate with colleagues Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication; active listening Mathematical Reasoning: compute quantities, days supply, and other calculations Problem Resolution: address challenging interactions and choose appropriate actions Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, repetitive motions, and visual acuity requirements Team Management and Leadership: lead by example, delegate, coach, provide feedback, and maintain accountability Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager Preferred Qualifications Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program 3-5 years of related experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting Ability to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs Anticipated Weekly Hours

Full time Pay Range

$65.00 - $82.00 Note: This pay range represents base compensation; actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
