The Pharmacy Manager role leads and develops a pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care and maintain compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities
Lead and develop a pharmacy team, promoting best practices and guiding through change; coach and manage performance opportunities. Support novel program awareness, onboard newly hired staff, and recognize colleagues for success. Demonstrate best practices on the bench, provide patient counseling, and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines. Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, immunizations, patient counseling, and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team. Promote immunizations and empower Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization delivery. Manage pharmacy inventory with emphasis on cold chain protection and follow stock best practices. Onboard new Technicians and Pharmacists, training on CVS workflow and ensuring training/licensure on track. Ensure operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed. Partner with Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and ensure training for licensure. Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists; conduct performance reviews and address gaps. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic; manage pharmacy scheduling as needed. Review business reporting to develop actions for workflow, service, patient care, and compliance improvements. Foster a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion; solicit and act on feedback. Maintain clinical/technical skills; pursue trainings and continuing education; expand knowledge to support patients. Support access to care and patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible. Understand and comply with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies; ensure privacy, security, and a safe workplace. Required Qualifications
Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist Essential Functions
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe Attention and Focus: task concentration, ability to pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy Customer Service and Team Orientation: helpful, empathetic, and collaborative Communication Skills: effective verbal and written communication; active listening Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, quantities needed, etc. Problem Resolution: address challenging interactions and choose best action Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, repetitive motions, fine motor skills, visual acuity Team Management and Leadership: lead by example, delegate, coach, and drive performance Preferred Qualifications
Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program 3-5 years of related experience in pharmacy/retail/medical or customer service Ability to work in the home store and across markets as needed Anticipated Weekly Hours

Full time Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $65.00 - $82.00 per hour. This base pay range applies to positions within the job grade; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible for CVS Health bonus or incentive programs in addition to base pay. Benefits
