Your Impact As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will be a key driver of equipment reliability, process optimization, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance asset performance, reduce downtime, and improve safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools: DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Analysis, Poka Yoke, Kanban
Collaborate on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects
Develop and track KPIs related to maintenance performance and reliability
Facilitate training for maintenance technicians on best practices and safety procedures
Utilize tools like SAP, QMOS, and CAD for data analysis and process documentation
Champion 5S, standard audits, and safety initiatives
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing leadership
Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and heavy industrial equipment
Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP
Proficiency in data-driven decision making and process optimization
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Familiarity with Operational Excellence, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing principles
