Assist in performing inventory and inspections of hydraulic Water Resources infrastructure. Utilize GIS/GPS applications for analysis and reporting as required. Support Water Resources Engineering automation and information resource support efforts for the MnDOT Metro District. Minimum Qualifications
Post-secondary student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Hydraulics, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Earth Science, GIS or related field. A valid Class D Driver’s License. Note: Please include an anticipated graduation/completion date and field of study on your resume to determine eligibility. If enrolled at a credit-granting institution students must carry at least six semester (nine quarter) credits. If enrolled at a non-credit granting institution or one that only offers one credit per class, students must be taking two or more classes per semester/quarter. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least two courses or making progress on a dissertation. The selected candidates will be required to complete an Education Verification form prior to appointment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience using data loggers, GPS equipment, and/or GIS software to make maps. Strong background in GIS/GPS and a high degree of computer literacy. Familiarity with ArcMap software. Field work experience. Additional Requirements
