Overview
Our client, a well-established equipment service provider to companies within the life science industry, is seeking a full-time professional Field Service Engineer with mass spectrometry experience to service Agilent LCMS instruments in order to support growing demand for their laboratory instrument maintenance and repair services. Base pay range
$115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repair of Agilent LC and LCMS instruments for customers, which include pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments as well as the refurbishment of instruments. Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs. Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation. Create and properly maintain customer service logs and documentation. Key Qualifications
2-3 years of experience servicing mass spectrometry instruments, and experience with Agilent LC and LCMS instrumentation (SQ, QQQ, TOF and QTOF) is strongly preferred. Strong background in analytical instrumentation including HPLC and mass spectrometry. Seniority level
