Responsibilities
Foster a culture of excellence and innovation
Managing and mentoring the engineering team, providing guidance, support and fostering professional growth
Drive technological advancements, stay up to date with industry trends
Ensure adherence to best practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Oversee, direct and execute engineering designs (civil, electrical, mechanical) and permitting efforts for a range of energy sector projects
Lead a team in delivering designs and permitting for solar projects, including interconnection
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems or renewable energy with a strong interest in solar and clean energy projects
Professional Engineering licensure
Deep understanding of permitting processes, interconnection requirements, and renewable energy systems design
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously
Understanding of business objectives, financial management and market dynamics
Remote position with travel up to 30% per year
Offices in Wisconsin
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to build and mentor a high-performing technical team
