Overview
The Office of Human Resources is seeking a skilled Human Resources professional with HR systems administration experience to serve as a Senior HRIS Analyst for our Cloud HCM system. The primary focus is Leave, Timekeeping, and Benefits administration, with support for other HR system modules and functions. This role reports to the HR Systems Division Manager and collaborates with Payroll/Finance, IT, and System Analyst/Liaison staff across County departments to ensure effective operation of the HR systems and to provide end-user support. Responsibilities
FMLA and special leave program management for assigned agencies, including eligibility review, approvals, tracking, system administration, and compliance Absence and timekeeping support and administration for assigned agencies, including liaison/timekeeper support, biweekly payroll processing support, reporting, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Benefits processing support, including system life event processing and troubleshooting and reporting Assist in the administration of HR systems (manage system user accounts, setup, configuration, training, and maintenance) Act as primary liaison to HR system users, providing technical support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance Manage and support Core HR, Time & Labor, Leave, Learning Management, Benefits, HR Help Desk, Compensation, Recruitment, and Performance Management modules Manage HR system transactions, workflow, and data Data entry and conducting regular audits and analysis of HR system data Provide regular and ad hoc reporting Manage file integrations Prepare and update documentation Provide support to HR projects and initiatives Identify, recommend, review, and test system and process improvements, enhancements, and solutions Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 6 years of related experience in human resources software systems support, including data entry, troubleshooting, data analysis, and end user training and support. Preferences
The ideal candidate will have experience managing and administering an HCM/HR system, specifically cloud-based applications; the ability to communicate effectively to large audiences in-person and in written presentations; comprehensive knowledge of HR system administration and HR principles, practices, and laws. Public sector experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, be broadly focused while remaining detail-oriented, and understand how systems and processes work together. Schedule Requirements
Flexible schedule within standard business hours, averaging 37.5 hours per week. This is a hybrid position with remote and on-site work, generally requiring a few days per month on-site and scheduled on-site meetings as needed. The amount of on-site work may change. Most work is Monday through Friday during normal business hours; occasional non-standard hours may be required. Schedule and hours are subject to change based on business need. Special Requirements
The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check. Starting Salary Range
$88,974.60 - $110,210.00/yr. Benefits include: Retirement from the Virginia Retirement System (VRS); 401a and 457 retirement savings plans; Paid Annual Leave, Personal Leave, Sick Leave, and Holidays; Optional Group Medical, Dental Health Plans, and Group Life Insurance; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Career Development Opportunities.
