You will support senior managers through partners in providing tax services, balancing time between compliance and planning, and interacting directly with clients. The focus is on flow-through entities (partnerships) with opportunities to progress to senior manager. Prepare or review federal and state tax returns for U.S. partnerships, including foreign reporting for cross-border compliance (foreign partnerships, foreign corporations, foreign disregarded entities, foreign affiliate reporting). Provide tax research, draft tax memoranda, and assist in quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services. Identify and communicate significant tax matters to Managers and Senior Managers. Liaise and develop relationships with other service lines and subject matter professionals. Build long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored services. Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients. Maintain and share technical knowledge and best practices to support the team. Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensure quality of work, and provide growth opportunities. Identify risks and opportunities to improve services and processes. Qualifications and Skills
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with tax, business, or financial planning experience. CPA certification or membership in The Bar. Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to challenge colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Minimum 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization. Willingness to work in a balanced hybrid environment and travel as needed. Preferred: Commitment to continuing learning. Proficiency with tax software (RIA, CCH IntelliConnect, OneSource, BNA, Lexis Nexis). Experience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance. Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues. What We Look For
