Senior Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) – Jacobs Base pay range
$132,900.00/yr - $174,450.00/yr Responsibilities
Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development. Prepare grading plans and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations. Develop site master planning and site selection. Route underground utilities and plan site space. Design storm drain and wastewater systems. Perform final grading plans with cut/fill analysis and earthwork balancing. Provide erosion and sediment control, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval. Research local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction. Model stormwater in software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 8+ years of engineering experience, including extensive project experience. Strong knowledge and experience designing medium to large scale industrial developments. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills. Collaborative team player in multi‑disciplinary environments. Quick learner, driven to broaden knowledge base. Ideal to have
PE certification. Bluebeam experience. Experience using Navisworks. Benefits
