Senior Civil (Design) Engineer – Data Centers
Jacobs is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group. The role focuses on design and construction of state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities in the United States. Base Pay
US$132,900.00 – $174,450.00 per year. Location
Any United States office. Candidates are encouraged to be near a Jacobs U.S. office. Responsibilities
Conceptualize initial civil design for land and site development. Develop grading plans, cut‑and‑fill analysis, and earthwork balancing. Perform hydrology analysis and stormwater design, including storm drain systems. Design grading, erosion and sediment control plans, and support permit approval. Coordinate underground utility routing and site space planning. Research and comply with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements. Use software applications such as StormCAD, CivilStorm, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and StormCAD. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Eight or more years of professional engineering experience, including industrial development design. Extensive experience designing medium to large scale industrial developments. Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Navisworks. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. Preferred
PE certification. Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam. Benefits
