Provide support to FDIO Second Level Engineering. Coordinate FDIO modifications. Schedule outages. Develop transition plans. Read site drawings. Install and validate hardware and software. Develop and present briefings to stakeholders. Cable fabrication and testing. Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree and 9+ years of experience (may accept additional experience or degrees). Knowledge of air traffic systems in the en route and terminal domains. Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA. Experience integrating work efforts involving decision support systems. Experience providing support and communications at operational field facilities during system upgrades. Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber). Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language. Flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task. Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing highly technical information and systems. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize benefit of system investments. Salary
Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000.
