Location: Remote Work, NJ, US. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires up to 30% travel within the United States.
Job Responsibilities
Communicating with stakeholders to develop FDIO FDTS installation requirements.
Reading and modifying site drawings.
Identifying hardware and software needs.
Developing and presenting informational briefings to stakeholders.
Developing detailed engineering reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains.
Experience with cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber).
Experience in integrating work efforts involving National Airspace System (NAS) decision support systems.
Experience providing support and communications at operational field facilities during site surveys.
Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language, including the ability to summarize discussions and action items.
Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Required Clearance
US Citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
