Provide people leadership for a Systems Engineering organization, including performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning as part of the Functional Homeroom within the Strategic Deterrent Systems business unit. Support employee development, inclusion, engagement, mentoring, and career development; identify and deliver required skills training for programs. Own and direct processes used in the functional group. Support staffing, workload forecasting, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. Support the Department Manager with requested tasking. Assignment Duties: dependent on program needs. Position Benefits

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience Experience managing people preferred Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period Minimum 3 years of direct Systems Engineering experience (requirements, integration, architecture, and/or verification) Existing technical scope of work within Systems Engineering on the Sentinel Program Nice To Have
3+ years of leadership experience in a functional, programmatic, or technical capacity Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills Understanding of SE lifecycle and philosophy Knowledge of mechanical/electrical design principles, requirements derivation, and systems integration Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Siemens NX, and ICBM Weapon System Active DoD Top Secret clearance and Sentinel Program SAP Salary and Other Details
Primary Level Salary Range: $156,500.00 – $234,700.00. The salary is a guideline and may be impacted by scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply depending on position. Long-Term Incentives may be available for VP/Director levels. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability coverage, savings plan, holidays, and PTO.
