Job Overview
UC Davis Health School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology – Generalist Associate Physician – Sacramento, CA (Full‑Time).
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in general obstetrics and gynecology – outpatient, labor and delivery, inpatient hospitalist duties.
Perform emergency and consult procedures – urgent and emergent gynecologic surgery, emergency department coverage.
Teach and supervise residents and medical students in labor and delivery, operating room and inpatient wards as attending physician.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and maintain highest standards of care.
Participate in administrative meetings and adhere to all department and clinic policies.
Qualifications – Minimum
DEA license within 3 months of hire.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Medical license in California by hire.
Completed Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program by hire.
M.D. or D.O. degree.
One year or greater recent clinical experience in general OB/GYN.
Strong written, oral, and verbal communication; ability to triage urgent patient needs.
Commitment to ethical conduct, patient experience and quality improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience caring for LGBTQ and diverse populations.
