The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing, directing, and supervising all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation, treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The SLP ensures that patient care complies with organizational guidelines, professional standards, and community needs, in accordance with Federal and State regulations. The SLP acts as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, coordinating with internal and external customers. The role involves ensuring cross-disciplinary collaboration to provide consistent patient care and participating in quality assurance and customer service activities. Requirements
Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines CPR Certification 1 year Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred Experience in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred Students in their CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) will be considered Additional Information
