: Responsible for providing support to key customers onsite through leading packing team, documenting packing procedures, and being onsite support for forecasting and new product designs. The role is primarily located at the customer site, with occasional work at TransPak facility as needed. Essential Functions: Measure new products and gather critical dimensions and characteristics to inform product development. Document packing procedures for prototypes to be mass-produced globally. Collaborate with customer engineers and logistics personnel to determine upcoming workload and shipping forecasts. Assist customers with open orders, RMA’s, and redesigns. Carefully lift, push, and place customer equipment/materials inside TransPak-manufactured crates using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders, or ramps to ensure damage-free shipping. Unload, prepare, and assemble crates at the customer site if not pre-assembled, using hammers, cordless nail guns, or power drills, including nailing or hammering crate tops or sides. Assist with other crate assembly tasks as production schedules permit. Maintain a safe and efficient facility environment by reporting equipment defects and following safety procedures. Speak up to report unsafe conditions or acts. Perform work efficiently according to standard operating procedures. Collaborate with team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced environment. Marginal Functions: Gather feedback and resolve customer issues. Maintain records of scheduled jobs upon delivery and packing. Communicate with supervisor/dispatch upon job completion. Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements: Required At least 1 year of experience measuring and designing. Minimum 3 years of packing experience. High School diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent field experience. At least 6 months of experience working with power tools, especially pneumatic tools. 3 to 6 months of woodworking, carpentry, or related experience. Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and hand-trucks to move heavy materials. Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail in packing and securing materials to avoid damage. Ability to work independently or in teams with minimal supervision. Effective communication and comprehension of written and verbal instructions. Valid state Class C driver’s license, at least 23 years old, with a clean driving record, and experience driving box and bobtail trucks. Strong customer service skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
