Assistant Service Manager

to help lead our service team and support daily operations within our busy dealership. Position Overview: The Assistant Service Manager plays a key role in supporting the Service Manager by overseeing daily service operations, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with solid automotive knowledge and hands-on dealership experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and profitability Support service advisors and technicians to deliver an exceptional customer experience Review repair orders, monitor shop workflow, and ensure timely completion of work Communicate effectively with customers to provide repair updates, cost estimates, and post-service follow-up Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with GM standards Help train, coach, and motivate service staff to meet performance goals Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure availability of necessary parts for repairs Monitor key performance metrics and assist with reporting to dealership leadership Maintain a safe, organized, and professional service environment Qualifications: Previous experience as an Assistant Service Manager, Service Advisor, or similar dealership role Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and dealership service operations General Motors and CDK (Dealer Management System) experience strongly preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle customer concerns professionally Valid driver's license and clean driving record Benefits: Competitive compensation plan Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation and holidays Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Ongoing training and professional development opportunities How to Apply: If you're ready to take your career to the next level and provide exceptional service to Burlington Chevrolet customers, we encourage you to apply!
