Overview
This position is located at the Community Activity Center on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses
Up to 25% recruitment, relocation and/or retention incentive may be authorized. Responsibilities
Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance. Execute recreation events, programs and services to meet the recreational needs of a diverse patronage, including a variety of multi disciplinary events which involve a variety of activities. Recommends items of supplies, materials, prizes, decorations, refreshments, and equipment needed for program functions. Assures that proper security measures are taken to safeguard monies, property, equipment and facility. Requirements
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. This position requires additional background checks that are necessary to allow for the incumbent to supervise minor employees working in the facility. Selected candidate must be at least 18 years of age. May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays on a regular basis or as needed. A medical examination is required.
