University of Arkansas, Fayetteville The University of Arkansas Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I3R) pioneers solutions to wicked problems through convergence research across academic, industry, government, and non-profit sectors to make a positive societal impact by creating and deploying innovations at scale. Position Description:
The Post-Doctoral Fellow will work as a member of I³R’s team focused on advancing integrative health by providing healthy food and health technologies in a manner that is secure, resilient, and accessible to all. Competitive applicants will be those who are interested in contributing to this mission and who have expertise and/or seek post-doctoral training in one or more of the following areas: food systems and food technology, health technology, cross-cutting technologies to support food and health, and law, policy, community development and engagement to support integrative health. The post-doctoral fellow will participate in data collection activities, develop tools for efficient and reliable data collection, and prepare reports and publications of research results. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: A PhD or comparable advanced degree in science, engineering, data science, statistics, food science, public policy, education or related fields is required. At least two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in technology development or technology assessment. Prior experience in collecting, processing, analyzing and interpreting data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to document activities and develop product documentation as needed. Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team while being able to work independently. Share a desire to improve health through convergence research and development. Salary Information:
