Guest Services Representative - Info Desk role at Norwalk Hospital. Greet and monitor all visitors, provide patient room and phone number information, and use a computerized visitor badging system. Adhere to hospital policies including patient confidentiality while directing visitors to their destination. Information Desk Badge Processing: Monitor visiting hours and distribute computerized passes in accordance with hospital visitor policy. Navigate among computer programs to troubleshoot issues and process visitors/badges in a timely, efficient manner. Department and Hospital Policies: Adhere to policies specific to visitor restrictions and patient confidentiality. Customer Service: Provide courteous and friendly assistance to visitors and the general public. Assist with valet inquiries in the absence of the parking ambassador. Locate and coordinate with appropriate departments for after-hour and weekend time-sensitive package receiving. Emergency Communications: Identify and communicate emergencies in the lobby area accurately. Performs other duties as assigned and fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Required: Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English. Ability to deal with visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Experience with Microsoft Office and email. Data entry required. Minimum experience: 1 year. Desired: Prior experience in customer-service oriented positions. Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus. Job Details
