ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will: Provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability Responsibilities: Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their specific needs Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures (if certified) Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance What we are looking for: Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners Work both independently and with a team Benefits and Eligibility: Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at https://corporate.target.com/careers/benefits.
