We are looking for someone who shares a passion for altering the terrible food waste situation in the USA! If this is you, we invite you to join our client's team as an Organics Market Manager (Recycling Sales Manager) and play a crucial role in advancing decarbonization and supporting regenerative agriculture.

Position Summary Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Strategy, the Organics Market Manager (Recycling Sales Manager) will prospect for potential clients, build relationships, and secure contracts for organic waste tons into anaerobic digester facilities. This advanced-level position requires expertise in attracting and winning over large food and beverage clients, along with a deep understanding of the environmental services industry, waste and recycling service offerings, and the necessary vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Acquire regional clients in the food and drinks industry to support business growth

Drive revenues by securing signed, approved organic waste streams with targeted clients

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop vertical strategy

Adapt to business needs

Maintain high-quality records and information in the CRM

Support the Organics Solutions Sales team on various projects

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the waste and recycling industry

Quick adaptation to new technologies

Exceptional organizational skills

Thorough record-keeping abilities

Strong customer relationship management

Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative mindset to align goals across teams

Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in environmental waste sales and total waste sales

Experience in organics management

Results-oriented with the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
