The Senior Account Manager’s primary role is to lead and manage some of Mosaic’s key experiential accounts with multiple events throughout the year. They are a strategic practitioner with excellent communication skills and the ability to focus clients and internal team members on the right effort. The Senior Account Manager will manage the day-to-day internal team and client relationships, oversee the creative development, production planning and financials of all events under their assigned portfolio. The Senior Account Manager fosters a climate of respect and collaboration internally and externally. A passion for delivering experiential events, driving business and leading the team, and making positive change, the Senior Account Manager is hands-on, laser focused on results and can produce flawlessly. Responsibilities
Be the go-to, day-to-day client lead for your clients – when they need anything, they will think of you (primarily for marketing stuff) Develop ongoing partnerships with clients, internal cross-functional teams and vendors (this is Mosaic’s secret sauce and why our clients are always asking for more) Be seen as a credible voice on behalf of the agency and as a dynamic champion of our work Mentor and develop junior team members – whether they report to you or not – and be the example for them to aspire to become (this role might have direct reports) Be the champion of extraordinary work and agency culture – by providing inspiration, leadership and expertise in Mosaic’s agency offerings Manage the profitability of work – be cost-conscious of account expenses and alert to opportunities for growth in other project assignments (this role will directly contribute to the financial success of the organization) Be a good internal partner – know when to ask for help from our cross-functional agency counterparts who know how to do it best Qualifications
Experience working across a variety of client business and with an array of cross-functional agency units 7+ year track record of success and increasing responsibility in an agency or client environment (at least some cross-functional agency experience is critical) An understanding of integrated experiential marketing with a focus on large and small scale experiential initiatives such as B2B, sampling, retail, tours, and other event marketing initiatives Ridiculously strong communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal Very comfortable with budgeting and proposal building to sell ideas to the client A passion for understanding client business challenges and an ability to rally internal teams to help solve An insatiable curiosity combined with the ability to think critically translating into creativity (grounded in strategy) that can be applied to the client business day in and day out Juggling skills – ability to manage multiple priorities toward on-target, on-time, and on-budget delivery The self-awareness to know when to listen, when to speak and when you’ve said enough The self-confidence to sell what you believe in, and to own it when it goes south Exceptional problem-solving, time management skills and keen attention to detail Willingness to actively contribute to making our agency (and the universe) better About Us
