We are looking for an

Account Manager

to join our New Climate Business team at Vaisala, out of our base in

Louisville, Colorado . Do you want to make a real impact in the fight against climate change? In this role, you will help customers in agriculture, nature-based solutions, and ecosystem research to measure, understand, and optimize carbon and water flows with Vaisala’s Quanterra atmospheric flux monitoring services. You will be part of our New Climate Business, within our Weather, Energy & Environment business area. You will help grow Vaisala’s Quanterra Systems business by driving sales of site-specific atmospheric flux monitoring services globally. You will work in close cooperation with customers, business partners, distributors, and internal functions. You will report to

Beccy Mitchell , Manager, Carbon Solutions. Key responsibilities : Developing and maintaining customer accounts by building trust and engagement to foster long-term partnerships and customer success Proactively seeking new customers and leads, converting them into opportunities, and closing deals Promoting Vaisala Quanterra solutions by visiting customers, participating in exhibitions and fairs, organizing seminars, and contributing to working groups Preparing quotations and tenders in line with our sales process and strategy Ensuring profitable sales by forecasting, budgeting, and developing your sales funnel Acting as a subject matter expert on customer needs and market conditions, translating feedback into insights for internal teams What will you bring?

Previous technical sales experience and familiarity with customer trade practices, contracts, and financing instruments Knowledge of carbon monitoring approaches in food supply chains, agriculture, nature-based solutions, or ecosystem research Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-service mindset Self-motivated, flexible, and well-organized team player with persistence to close deals Eagerness to grow expertise by learning industry standards such as carbon measurement protocols and market dynamics Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage Ability and willingness to travel internationally Anticipated salary

Salary:

$80,000 - $100,000 base salary with a quarterly sales bonus plan. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. We offer a competitive benefits package.
