As we continue our rapid growth, we’re looking for an Account Executive who will take ownership of building out our LATAM presence and revenue. You will partner with our Sales team and Channel Partners, craft your own pipeline, and work with Sales Engineers to close deals ranging from five to seven figures. Your role requires leading pivotal deals, handling a diverse portfolio, and paving the way for future teammates. You should listen to and engage with engineers—the primary buyers—and navigate technical dialogues and decision-making. A blend of best sales practices, in-depth sales expertise, and a passion to close significant deals quickly is essential. What you’ll do
Identify and nurture leads, turning them into high-impact opportunities as our LATAM Account Executive. Build and strengthen relationships with buyers, understand their needs, and streamline the deal process. Lead negotiations and procurement activities to close deals. Maintain consistent CRM updates with vital customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data. Craft and implement plans to meet revenue goals monthly, quarterly, and annually. Engage with technical stakeholders to uncover opportunities to advance Port’s value proposition. Collaborate with sales engineers and the executive team to connect across major accounts. Advocate for introducing innovative features in collaboration with Engineering. Work with our Channel team and expand engagement with channel partners. Assist with events in strategic LATAM areas. Support leadership in navigating and scaling the LATAM market, advising on where to invest time and resources. Who you’ll work with
Collaborate with Sales Engineers, fellow Account Executives, and the SDR team. Participate in sales forecasting meetings and partner with sales leads, VP of Sales, CEO, and CTO to close landmark deals. Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Engineering. Proven experience in achieving quotas with a benchmark of $1M+ ARR annually. Ability to drive and close business with Mid-Market and Enterprise customers. Experience selling software to the LATAM market directly and with channel partners. A consistent history of activity, robust pipeline development, and quota attainment. 5-8 years of sales experience, preferably in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, databases, or business intelligence. Solutions-focused sales approach with the ability to manage complex sales processes. Excellent presentation and listening skills, strong organizational and contact management abilities. Proactive in understanding technical nuances and confident in leading technical conversations with stakeholders at all levels. Why Join Port?
