Job Summary
This fast-paced program touches every aspect of the business unit. You will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills and resources to develop relationship building. The program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, with the potential to finish in as little as 12 months based on performance. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management. If you are motivated, coachable, and looking to start a career in sales, operations, or management, this is the right role for you. Structured work weeks with rotational Saturdays (depending on location), competitive pay plus OT. A full benefits package, 401(k) employer match, and RyderShares discount are available.
Essential Functions
Handling the sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database Generate rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads Manage all rental asset processes including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards Support achievement of Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory requirements Reconcile customer concerns and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base Other Responsibilities
On a voluntary basis and based on scheduling, perform On-Call Representative duties as determined by the Supervisor Performs other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment High energy, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects Ability to build professional relationships at all levels Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail oriented with strong follow-up practices Willingness to learn quickly Ability to relocate in the region/US after training Computer literate (intermediate level) Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field One year or more of customer service with issue resolution experience preferred Computer literate (intermediate level) Travel and Other Details
