Overview
PT-Onsite IT Support/Desktop Support 2 days per week at F2Onsite. Onsite IT Support Technician 2x per week 8 hour shifts Tuesday and Wednesday. Responsibilities
Setting up, installing, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems Troubleshooting and resolving computer issues, such as errors, connectivity problems, or hardware failures Running diagnostic tests and performing regular upgrades Providing technical support and ensuring data protection Repairing computer equipment and network devices Removing viruses, and troubleshooting malware, adware, spyware, etc. Adjusting computer hardware components to ensure better performance Diagnosing network connectivity problems Providing users with technical training and assistance when necessary Qualifications
Proven experience as computer technician Good knowledge of computer systems (PC and Point of Sales equipment), printers, mobile phones, tablets and peripherals Good knowledge of computer operating systems (Microsoft) Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Basic knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN networks Excellent troubleshooting skills Good communication skills Exceptional organizing and time-management skills Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) is an advantage Senior
